"Zainabia Cares" Support Program
Emergency financial assistance for community members in need
The "Zainabia Cares" Support Program offers limited emergency financial support for those community members experiencing urgent or dire circumstances. We endeavor to provide a helping hand whenever we can despite our limited budget. The Program guidelines are as follows:
- 1Priority is given to Zainabia Center members;
- 2$5,000.00 annually is the maximum support provided to any one member or their immediate family;
- 3The need must be urgent/dire and impacting the individual's or family's basic needs (shelter, food, clothing, health, transportation, security);
- 4The need must be substantiated by providing documentation or testimony to enable the Program to accurately assess the situation; and
- 5A Panel of Ulama will make the final determination on the support decision within a week of receiving a request. Each request will be handled with complete confidentiality.
As a small community, with a limited budget, we will not be able to satisfy all the requests we receive for emergency hardship financial support. However, we use a standardized process to evaluate each request and give case-specific consideration to reach a decision in the spirit of the justice exhibited by the Noble Messenger (s) and Imam Ali (a).
